It is obtained by pressing fresh cheese and keeping it in a leather bag for a long time. It is a delicious non-porous cheese with a slightly sharp smell and taste. The leather itself is made from the skin of a goat and its texture that supports, nourishes and develops the natural growth environment of the Tulum cheese.
The fat and protein ratios of cheese matured in the skin are naturally higher.
